Just bought a Nismo V2 front bumper, need advice
First off, pictures
My car as it sits now with my friend's recently purchased 04 touring

I purposely had the guy leave the canards unpainted. For the life of me I cannot decide what color to make them. I don't want them the same color as the car because I want them to stand out, other than that I have no other guidelines other than it obviously having to look good lol.
My plan from the start was to keep the car looking completely stock, until I came across a Nismo V2 replica front bumper for $160. It was 95% perfect fitment, only reason it's not 100% is because it had no way of connecting the splash guard under the car to it so we had to drill holes. Other than that no modifications were made to the bumper. Only cost me $150 to paint so I just had to do it. Next mod's the veilside v2 underwings, after that I'm going for a chargespeed rear bumper
Anyways back to my question, what color do you guys suggest I make the canards?
Or what other exterior modifications should I do to make the canards stand out more and fit more overall with the car? Any input's welcomed

Really? It just seems like it's there to stand out, everyone I talk to about it say's to go red and put some more red accents on the car but I'm iffy about it. I don't like carbon fiber so that's not an option, I have no idea what I'm going to do with those pieces lol

Don't do red please unless maybe a pinstripe on the edge of it......
try out plastidip to test the waters since it's reversible or get the photoshop guys to wip something up

Yeah I was thinking plastidipping it, but what other aspects of the car should I change along with the canards?

Hm, might just do a matt black then. It'll match my wheels, I'll get the underwings matt black and the diffuser on the rear bumper matt black too. Guess that'll match well?

IMO.canards that are painted a wild accent color look terrible.
CF canards are best.But...since yours are not CF,what are other options?
Maybe try something different.Everyone seemds to do matte or OMG,
Plastidip!A real overlooked option is black wrinkle finish. It looks great,
very durable, has texture with some highlites. The best is the type used for
hi-temp apps. You must follow directions to get the finish to be even.
Also, its a slow drying paint.Needs a few days to cure correctly.

Black with a high metalic would be cool.

Your car is black, just go with black. I have the same front bumper, amuse sides and black wheels. To me it'd be odd to have different color canards, however if you do eventually add some carbon fiber parts on your car then it can't hurt to get a set of carbon fiber canards
