Talking Now she's a Fairlady

Lame thread I know, but I just got done putting the Fairlady Z badge on my new Z. And..I was excited. So here's some pics of the finished product.

The best thing about it is, looking in the rear view mirror and seeing people mouth the words "What the hell is a Fairlady"

yeah, it is fun to look in the rear view mirror and see people cramming their heads to read the "fairlady z" and have that puzzled look on their faces.

That reminds me when i first put clear corners and blue side blinkers on my frost white teg about 6 years ago and some guy in a pickup truck to my right took a double take while he was making a right turn at a red light. He narrowly missed some car going in front of him.

Can you guys actually see people in your back thru rearview mirror? Because I can't Our Z's rear view is so damn small and usually can't see the driver behind me.

If you are talking about side mirrors on each side, then that's a different story.

the best was when i was driving in downtown chicago, and im sitting at a light with the windows down, and i hear a guy and his teenage kid walking and the kid says "Thats a 350Z!!" and his dad quickly replies, "Nope, thats a FAIRLADY Z!!!!" I was like, ya it is. Its amazing the looks you get in this car. I have gotten more thumbs up from people than i can believe. Nice job!

Looks good! I've got my emblem sitting in my garage. #1 What did you use to remove your old one? #2 What are you doing with you old one? I've heard some people say they were going to put it on the other side or somewhere on the engine. Just curious, I'd hate to waste it.
Tks

I used a heat gun and dental floss to remove the old emblem. As for the old emblem, it's not going back on the car anywhere. Just put it aside in the bag that the Fairlady Z emblem came in.
