sorry to bump an old thread, but I have a question.

What parts are needed to make this work on an 2004 350z? The actual front bumper, the Zspeed extension shroud, and the Zspeed aluminum undertray should be all I need to make this work right?

Also, the OEM nismo bumper is made out of ABS plastic? I thought all OEM 350z bumpers were in polyurethane? I dont know much a bout ABS plastic but is it strong? I don't want to be paying this much for an OEM bumper just to have it break as easily as the replicas out there

Oh and one more thing

How many inches off the ground is the front bumper? On the ends as well as the center? On my current setup I can only fit my nissan key btwn the ground

Its a strong bumper unless you do your own plowing in the winters your should be fine. I have that setup. Zspeed under and extension and the OEM bumper.

The V3 sits higher then my old v2(I think).

okay thanks man. My driveway is super steep, and it scrapes my Amuse front everytime. It's fiber glass so now the bottom has been ripped open.

Just hoping the same wont happen to my V3 after a few months of scraping. It's only ABS plastic right? (OEM)

one more question on this!

I just looked up the nismo front bumper diagram:

http://images.wrenchead.com/smartpag...oc/3714006.jpg

I see all these clips and dampers and fasteners etc

I just purchased an OEM v3 bumper and it didn't come with any accessories to mount...is this going to be a problem? I should be able to re-use most of the accessories from my current set up to make this work? All I have now is the bumper itself, 2006+ fender liners.

you need the front diffuser piece (item 6 on your diagram) which I think costs like 500 from Nissan or you can buy the alternative piece from zspeed performance which joins your undershroud to the diffuser which attaches to the front bottom of that bumper. the cost is like 200 bucks...

Oh yeah sorry, I meant to say that I have the bumper, the fender liners as well as the zspeed diffuser.

Is there any other specific items that I need? like item # 20, 8, 17, 11?

what about the foam energy absorber? Is there one specific to the nismo model or can I just re-use the same one from my 2004 Z?

You are good. I'm not even using the foam piece with my current v2 setup. But it'll probably work with what you have.

Here are my thoughts:

20 I'm not even sure why that's there. 8 is some random j hook that doesn't seem to go anywhere. 17 is the license plate holder. 11 is the nismo front damper that is irrelevant to your bumper.

You can go to something like courtesy parts for better diagrams of that nismo front.

so I should be able to bolt up this bumper with my existing bolts from my current bumper right? I only ordered the nismo bumper without any of the screws/bolts

If you need any additional parts use your local dealership to save on shipping, cause they can order the specific part as pretty much the same price..
