Unhappy 06 front bumper fitment issues on 04 Z(pic request)

I have searched many times and can only come up with one pic thats not to clean. I just picked up a 06 front bumper for my 04 Z, I cant find a decent deal on 06 headlights so Im sticking with the 04s for now. I know the bumper will fit but I have been reading mixed things in regards to having to change the fender liners and under tray and also there being a gap under the headlight. I just dont want to do this upgrade if its not going to look right. Pics would be great.

The only gap will be on the outer-bottom corners where the fender liner meets the bumper because the bottom of the 06+ bumper is wider than the previous years. No need to buy new fender liners, it's not a big gap and no one will notice. The headlights are the same size so if there's a gap, it's not because of the lights. Look up 2bad240's recent pictures, he has the 06+ bumper with 04 lights.

It should fit perfect, maybe you're sliding the bumper under the clips underneath the headlights instead of going into them?

I can take pics of mine tomorrow. I had a bit of weird fitment on the passenger side, but it's fixed itself a bit. I bought the 06 fender liners, though.

I put my bumper on today and everything went smooth. AdvanZ33's information is correct, there is no need to buy the 06 fender liners and the gap by the corner of the lights is VERY min. Here is a couple pics for you guys. Thanks for the help.

^ Quick question for you.. for some reason, my passenger side of the bumper was a little bit more of a pain than the driver side. Did you have any issues there?

No, I did not have any issues at all. I did keep some inward pressure on the corners of the bumper while screwing in the 10mm bolts to help minimize the small gap by the corner of the headlight, but that was about all.

As you can see from the bottom left hand corner of the photo there is a slight fender gap if you don't upgrade to the 06+ fenders.

Not really a big deal though

Gotcha, mine was a little iffy going on the passenger side, but I just put it on and after about a day or two it fixed itself

I talked to Waizz before ordering mine and decided to purchase the upgraded fender liners I'll get pics in a bit.

Your car looks great OP!!

What are the main differences on the bumpers besides the inner part? I know I want the new style hood lol.
