Default Honest opinion of this bumper

I like the more pointed nose and metallic grill. If you pulled up next to a guy with this on the front would you think tasteful cosmetic mod or complete douche. I don't want to do drastic changes, just maybe add slight originality here and there. I hadn't intended to do any body mods but I was surfing around and this one really caught my eye.

I've seen this bumper or one very similar on a black Z.Its a Aston Martin
style.Actually,it looked pretty good.I'm not a fan of a bar grille on the Z.
However, the one I saw had quality billet material used for the grille.
It did look good with the bumper. If it were me,I'd add a rear spoiler to
balance out the bumper.A Blitz would look great.

Please don't. Really? An Aston Martin front bumper on a Nissan? So much rice!

I am a firm believer that if you try to make your car look like another car, it is rice. I am referring to things like this, or angel eyes on a non-BMW, or Maserati side grilles on another car, or most popular now, the damn LED strips on a non Audi. It looks cheap and horrible, and everybody else that is not a ricer will laugh at you.

So man times a see a car like this and just say "seriously?" You don't want to be the guy that has a car that people say that about.

Well, Ford is now using that sort of bumper on all their crap, so that might say something.

If you like it thats all that counts.A major area to be cautious about if you go
this route,is the quality of the bumper.I've seen some body kits from the company that is selling this bumper.Pretty bad.Actually the bumper I saw
that was the same Aston design was part of a body kit.It was a black Z
with CF intergrated with the body panels. The seams were perfect as was the overal finish. You may want to check around to see other kits available. If you want subtle, just get a front lip.

Just don't let the end product be this masterpiece:

I personally don't like when something is trying to be something it isn't like in this case an Aston Martin, becomes very ricey very easily. Same goes for the GTR wanna be bumper.

LOL... just googled this bumper and every Z had chrome wheels... should tell you something.

I agree with whoever mentioned spending the money on a nice lip instead.

All my friends are trying to talk me into getting the GTR bumper on my Z, I don't plan on doing much of anything to the exterior of my car other than a carbon lip spoiler and some Nismo B pillars. I do like the GTR style hood they have though, that thing is sexy.

On here but I have a boosted G. From what I have read. That bumper. The original. Not a replica. Comes from Japan. It is very expensive somewhere In the 1k mark N plus to get it here. I personally haven't seen anyone run it but I think it looks ok.

For those that use the word RICE. Be careful. Bc everyone has done Ricey things at one time. And then we learned and hopefully moved forward.

There is nothing rice about any Jdm true pieces. Just bc you wouldn't run it doesn't make it rice. Bc I bet you more than half the people in every forum started with a ricer Honda or even worst a neon. Lol

OP it's honestly all up to you. But if you're going to consider that bumper. You have to look at the whole picture. Do you have rims??? Do you look mostly stock??? Do you have a spoiler??? You have to tie more things in than just the front bumper

Sorry, but many would agree that any change made to the vehicle that does not improve on performance/functionality can be considered rice, regardless of whether it is "JDM tyte, original straight from Japan overnight, yo".

For those that believe Function > Form:

Rice = Those that put Form > Function

Regardless of the rice discussion, it's your car and you should do whatever you like - but that front bumper will be one of those decisions that you look back at later and regret.
