Default Help! My headlights...

Hey everyone,

So last night I tried to install 6k Morimoto bulbs from theretrofitsource on my 06+ headlights.

For some reason the right headlight seems to not like the bulb because it turns on, dimly, then flickers off after about a second.

To Trouble shoot:

Thinking the bulbs were the issue, we swapped the Morimoto bulb that was in the left headlight to the right and turned them on. Headlight on the right still doesn't turn on and the left is working. So can't be the bulb.

Next we thought it must be the relay or something else. We put the stock bulbs back in, both turn on.

My buddy from Benz said that he has never seen this before.

It seems the right headlight doesn't like the aftermarket bulb.

Any thoughts?

In addition:
The vehicle was involved in an accident in the past where the right headlight was smashed and had to be replaced.
Thinking the headlight must've therefore been a depo, we checked.
Seems to be a legit Nissan headlight.

Have you gone over the harness to the headlight to ensure there are no breaks/shorts in the circuit from the accident?

The whole headlight and everything should have been replaced.

It would seem odd though, if their were any shorts in the circuits wouldn't it affect the light when the stock bulbs go in as well?
