rear ended repaired new bumper
I was rear ended and the insurance has paid for a new oem bumper. The body shop painted it and put it on. The next I noticed that the fit is off. I attached a pic. I brought it back and they said that is the best they can do. They were paid about 2300 for the job. I told them it is unacceptable. I am waiting to bring it back in.
Anyone know what might the problem?? any trick to get the bumper to fit flush with the deck? Anyone think that they simple refurbished my original bumper and pocketed the extra that the insurance gave them to pay for an oem $450..

If they won't fix it, let your insurance company know. They (your insurance) company should then talk with the shop and get something worked out. When you get your car back it should drive/look the way it did before the accident.
+1. Absolutely let your insurance company know. Any way to check if it's a genuine Nissan part, or a Chinese replica? Your insurance has to pay for OEM, unless you allow them to do otherwise. There should be a Nissan part number sticker on the inside.
