Default Questions for those with full front bumper kits installed.

Those with full front bumper body kit installed that replaces your stock front bumper, what did you do with the shock absorbing foam (62090 in the picture) that sits between stock front bumper and front horizontal beam?

I have the authentic Nismo V2 front bumper installed and my shop didn't put the foam back in because in order to do so, the foam needs to be cut short to allow the intake duct to be installed.

1. Is it OK to not put the absorbing foam behind the nismo v2 front bumper?
2. Without the foam, will my nismo V2 not have enough support and cause my paint to crack?
3. Does the original Nismo V2 front bumper installation tell you to remove or cut the foam? (I bought mine used, so it didn't come with any instructions)

Thanks.

I didn't install the duct , mounted my foam. If I was to run the duct, I would cut the foam.

Can someone scan and upload the Japanese nismo v2 front bumper installation instructions?
Couldn't find it anywhere on the internet.

Appreciate your help.
