Default Scratches on rear bumper by the trunk lid.

Anybody having similar problem? Minor scratches keeps showing on the bumper (trunk ledge) by the lip of the trunk lid where I lift the trunk. I have been polishing and buffing the scratches off on a recurring basis and am thinking about getting those paint protection film. Looked for many but there does not seem to be a pre-cut version out there that just cover approximate 2" below the truck lip where I tend to scratch the bumper with my rough knuckles when I slide my finger under to lift the trunk lid. Anybody having a suggestions?

If your trunk lid isn't popping up high enough do the penny in the helper spring mod. You should have plenty of clearance to slip your hand in between the hatch and bumper without scratching the paint.

Call me OCD, but I try to never touch any painted surface of my car. I always open my hatch by lifting on the Nissan emblem.
