Evo-R/Mines CF Front Lip Installed W/ Pics
Finally got around to installing my new evo-r/mines front lip.
Everything went pretty smooth and the lip was a perfect fit. Nice and snug with no play or gaps.
The hardest part for me was getting the two bottom holes on each side to line up with the bumper, but with a little bit of playing around i was able to get them in good.
As for the self taping screws most people only use one which im sure is fine but i went ahead and went with two on each side as it wouldnt hurt. I also purchased some extra 3m auto tape so i would have enough to do more than just the center piece.
One great trick i saw on a video online was to leave part of the 3m tape backing exposed, allowing you to fit the lip way easier without having to worry about it sticking down in the wrong spot. Then once everything is all perfect you can pull the tape backing last and press the lip down to secure it. Worked perfectly for me.
Here are some pics during the install. Scroll all the way down for the final pics once installed. Enjoy!
Also i have been getting alot of questions about where to find this lip. I purchased mine from "westerncustomz" on ebay. I beleive he has both the 03 and 06 versions for sale. Im not positive but im assuming this is prob just another new name evo-r is using for ebay. Regardless of all the bad stuff ive heard about him (assuming this is even him selling them) I must say I received my lip extremely fast (5 days) and it was in perfect condition and just as described with no problems at all.

And Some Final Shots after the install,

Thanks, and yea at first while test fitting I was like there's no way this is going to fit. But another member had mentioned that it would seem this way and in the end it lead to one of the most seamless lips I've ever seen on a 350
Pro job!
Great install!
Looks like it came on the car or,should have!
You are right,It'll take some getting used to with a lower ground
clearance in the front and,a bit more length to the car.If you are
like most of us,we park in the "usual" spots.Just have to back it up a
extra foot.Watch the sides too.
Excellent job my man!

Have mine for about 2 yrs now. Trust me it will last.
The carbon fiber looks slightly faded but thats to be expected with outdoor parking.
Dont lend no one you car trust me... My pops put a small crack on the bottom of the lip..

Yea I'm not too worried about it fading or anything like that. Just have a feeling I will end up catching/scraping it on a steep entrence or something. And don't worry nobody ever drives the Z but me, no matter how much they beg lol
it should hold up well though. my fiberglass nismo v2 hangs pretty low (lower than yours for sure) and it hasnt cracked yet and i've hit it numerous times. ive only once hit a parking block and it scared the **** out of me. didnt do anything though.
Its still pretty high off the ground so you should be able to clear most driveways and bumps. You'll learn to get used to the scraping though. My v2 front bumper on my lowered car scrapes all the time and now I'm just like meh
Yea my cars stock height so it's not too crazy. Props to the lowered people with lips I don't think I'd be able to bring myself to do that. At least where I live. And yea I'm sure ill get used to some light scrapes here and there but I know the first time I hear it I'm gonna cringe a little haha
Congrats on the new lip. I have the same one for a couple years now. I've scraped it plenty of times but haven't fit anything straight-on. I imagine it would crack with a head-on impact, but it's plenty durable for scraping the bottom.
