Is there anyway to mount the front license plate to the side without drilling holes on a stock 350 bumper? and is there any point in doing so if you aren't super charged?

sorry if this is already a thread. New to forums so if someone could link me in the right direction.

Not really. I guess as to not block the power steering cooler? On Evo X's there is a function for every port/vent on the bumper so the plate has to be off to the side.

 

I dont see any pictures of this installed. You could probably do something similar yourself.

Hey bub, I went and got a thin sheet of metal, made a templet out of paper and made one myself.

I mounted it with two of the screws that hold the splash shield I'm place and put foam tape for a garage door behind the plate so nothing scratches or touches the bumper,
