I repainted my cubby door with vinyl paint from autozone. My cubby door was all scratched up.. Now most people take the whole console apart to remove the door but what I did was cover my interior with plastic trash bags around the interior. My radio console was all scratched up as well so I ordered a kit off amazon to cover the radio cd console as well Its self adhesive brushed steel . It cost me $40 .. I will have to see how it wears and tears but It has a five year warranty. I wanted to customize my cubby door so I also ordered a z emblem of ebay for about $14 Everything fell into place and it looks pretty good.

The garbage bags are appropriate.

i just used plasti dip and it adheres to the cubby pretty well. Good thing is you will still have the textured OEM look. no sanding. i did also the rear struts and z logo. and its easy to peel off..
