Hey there, I've decided to spray the door handle today due to some scratches and warm-ish weather. I remember reading how to do this a couple months ago, but I can't for the life of me find that post again after about an hour of searching. It seems like the guides explain how to paint it but not how to actually remove it. Any help would be much appreciated, and once again, sorry if this has been posted somewhere, but I really am having some trouble finding it.

You don't have to pull off the elbow pad part. And make sure the window is rolled down first.

But like it shows, pull the screw in the finger cup, pull the switch panel off, 2 screws out there, pop the cover off behind the handle, 1 screw deep back in there, then it's easiest to start at the front bottom corner of the door. Grab the panel there (should be room to get a good grip, then do a light wiggly type pull, don't just yank on it, and the clips should pop loose. All the way across the bottom and up both sides till the door panel is loose and lift it up out of the window gap.

Then just pop the 2 cables loose from the handle/lock and you can take the panel inside. Then it should just be a couple screws on the back side to remove the handle.
