I believe you have to remove the wheel and remove everything off it, they are bolted on

I was recently trying to remove my wheel, but I couldn't get those damn security screws out.... Broke two bits trying... How the heck do you get them to budge???? I thought about trying to heat them, but I was worried about the surrounding plastic.

They make them difficult to remove in hopes that you will change your mind about painting anything Tiffany Blue on your Z. It's for your own good

just pop them them off with a flat head screwdriver, but be very careful. They are snapped on and all the buttons or lose with little movable pieces once you pop it
