New owner in need of assistance
Will look into all of these, I'm currently looking into amuse replicas.
Yeah, I hadn't realized that about the wides at first. One day I'll get there, when I understand what I'm doing:P.
For now I'd just like a little bit of a deeper look before I get into the engine and interior. The plan is, eventually, to changeover to a manual engine/tranny. I have some people that want to help me out with it, but it's going to be expensive and tons of labour. The engine will be from something a few years newer as well.

You cannot switch from auto to manual without basically building yourself a new car.
Just live with it or sell it now before it loses more value and buy either a manual or a newer model manual. You're looking at thousands for each of the above to do and may easily come close to what you paid for the car to begin with.

You cannot fit the newer model engines in your car without a lot of work.

An auto is what I need right now, as I have DC traffic for work and all, but when I'm back in school again I'll be planning my next move. After I'm all settled I'll start on the conversion if I don't sell out entirely. That's a far away-maybe sort of plan. I'm also considering trading for a manual Z, but I'm not even sure how the trading market works and I'm 100% sure I'd get ****ed.

you're still posting here and I don't understand why.
I know, that's fine. As I've stated, I know nothing about cars, but I'm learning slowly. I don't mind taking a loss, I'd like to do this myself. I want to know everything I'm doing & why, etc.

youre so ignorant, youre getting pissed about them helping you? they are just telling you the truth, believe me, if they wanted to **** you off, they could, ive seen it on quite a few forums, and quite frankly you should have been flammed about 3 1/2 pages ago, and they didnt do it, so shut up, listen, and learn.
these people are experts and have been around the block numerous times, theyve seen these posts time and time again, even i have, and the same s*** happens every time, and the more you get pissed the more they will try to **** you off...
if you are a noob and know nothing about cars which we can all tell you dont.. i suggest you stop being rude to these people as they will probably be the ones to answer a serious question of yours one day, and at this rate i wouldnt be surprised if they lead you the wrong way and cause you to pop your engine..

But yet kids keep posting just for people to see them post. Why? Does that make you feel better or something? I'm lost. Clearly your childhood was lacking to produce such meager results.

Thanks for everyone for helping me out.
Thanks trollee for free bumps.
This can be closed, I'm going to put on a modest kit and paint it white after wheels, from which I'll begin DIY interior fix-ups and engine modifications. Plenum spacer and intake first, then I'll have an exhaust installed. Thanks!

Op. To be honest. There are only a few of us on this site are able to give you straight honest advice answers. And most of them are on this thread alone. I know you may have disagree with their answers, but they do meant well and that is the truth. We all know how we want our 350Z to have a dream car look and race car performance, but in reality they cost tons of money to do it right.
In my opinion, the only purpose to put on a wide body kit on the 350Z is if you needs extra width on wheel and tires to maintain traction for 500+ whp boosted Z.
But if you still consider putting wide body kit on the Z because you like the look, make sure you buy authentic, spot on fitting kit, otherwise you are going hate yourself for hating us for trying to pointing you to the right direction.
On the side note. You are consider lucky because Syner and Travlee have been their best behavior on here so far, lol.
