Three from what I was told. I'm still up in the air as to whether or not I'm getting one. I'd like to see how my Voltex wing looks with the kit first. Being that it's only 1500mm though, I don't know how well it'll fit with the wide-body. Here's the info I was able to get ( apologize if some of the pics aren't there, on my work computer and can't tell if they all attached ):

Garage Mak Type 1 GT Wing 1700mm with stand -

Garage Mak Type 2 GT Wing 1790mm with stand -

Garage Mak Super GT Wing -

On another note...it looks really busy to me on the white car. I think the fact that you can see all the lines between each panel makes it look that way. I've got a feeling it'll look a lot better on the Daytona Blue...or at least I'm hoping!

I have no doubts that it'll look great on your car. Let us know the quality, fit and finish is like.

AHH... right. maybe back when i got it quoted they didnt have the super GT yet. But i think 1500mm is going to look too small with that wide body.

I am actually a fan of the original white build for this kit.. so far ive seen 4 colors 350z with this kit. Black, white, dark gray, and Ruined Z's Battleship Gray.. and i know there is bright lime green one as well.. but never saw a full picture of it. i'm very curious to see what it will look like in DB.

Fitment of the kit was 7 out of 10. Hopefully yours fits better. You'll definitely have the first wide body Garage Mak kit in the US!

Had to add material to the rear bumper as it didn't line up with the hatch. I could put a finger in the gap between the top of the rear bumper and the edge of the hatch when it was closed, but it closed properly. You'll probably have to add clear to any carbon fiber pieces you get, too.

For that kind of money I'm shocked that fitment was ok.

I was shocked as well. But Auto Explosion took care of it just fine.

Apparently, the Liberty Walk body kit on Paul Garcia's GT-R didn't have great fitment either and that kit is around 15k, if I'm not mistaken.

Now that I took a closer look, the hatch/bumper gap is evident on their demo car. Still an awesome looking kit.

its common that JDM kits don't actually fit the best.
It's funny because some replica kits fit better than the authentic ones.
Considering the G-mak kit was initially a one-off kit.. now since its made to order, i'm not really surprised at the fact that it has fitment issues.

I just know that the owner of the shop that works on my car; a very detail oriented guy told me that "almost every" kit that he's worked with never fits up exact and always trim here, cut there and that it's just the nature of the beast.

He has done mostly American cars however (muscle cars), but he just smiles and shakes his head when we talk about body parts/kits even for my Z, he says just to expect it and a good shop will just make it work fine! That's my 2 cents anyway.

Not too sure about that. Most of the time it's the other way around. Both the Chargespeed and Voltex kits I've had on my car were spot on. Literally just had them professionally painted, brought the pieces home, and put them on myself with perfect fitment and no gaps. The only kits I've heard people complain about were the knock-offs.

Either way, I'll make it work. I'm pretty good at massaging those pieces to make 'em fit, and I've got lots of help if needed. No concern here.

i find out where we are in the process fo this tomorrow... I ordered this type 2 1790mm wing as well as the CF ducktail piece for my Stardast wide kit build about a month ago.. Rajeet and Wen from Mastermind have been stellar about communication as well as having the best landed price on this piece too... just a thought in case anyone is serious about picking up any Garage Mak Revolution gear.. i know a few of you in the thread obviously already have your stuff.. this is more for future thread searchers.

Thanks, I love the look. Just not a fan of the huge wing. Would be nice if they made this go the entire length of trunk.

Mastermind is the best! They're very good and honest guys. It would be great if more shops out there could be like them. I got my kit through a friend of theirs and they put my kit on their container and delivered the kit to my body shop.

I guess you and I have different experiences. Chargespeed and Voltex are aero companies.. so I'm sure they have a better QA process for their kits. Garagemak, Mine's, etc that are tuner shop/companies that have kits made for them or they developed themselves maybe a different story. I'm sure with enough work and know-how you'll be able to fit them just fine.
