Default Where can I buy the JDM shoty antenna

Hey guys, I am guessing this has been discussed before, but everytime I try to do a search my connection is too slow. Does anyone know who sells the JDM FairladyZ shorty antenna (if you have it, could you let me know where you purchased it and for how much)? Another question about the antenna: is this the standard antenna all FariladyZs come with, or is it an optional shorter antenna in Japan? Finally, doe anyone have any close up pics of the antenna installed. Thanks!

Not sure which is the JDM shorty antenna, but have you checked Courtesy Nissan Parts? They have a couple aftermarket antennas, and one of them is quite short and silver in color.

Another very nice short antenna is fro jscspeed.com Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 8, Perrin Shorty Antenna. The cost is $27 + $9,85 S/H.

Some z owners (myself included) have gone with the s2000 antenna. it's $20 from any honda dealership.

other car antenna that may also fit are is300 and some mb's.

Yep, Courtesy has them on their web site. They are aluminum and cost $14 plus shipping.

is the loss in fm reception huge w/ these?

I listen to the radio occasionally, and although these look amazing, i don't want to lose a lot of sound quality from an already crappy blose system

i would not go with the courtesy nissan antennas. They do look nicer than the Honda S2000 antenna but it the more expensive look will make them more prone to being stolen. If your interested in another antenna, go with the $20 Honda one. It stands a better chance of not being stolen. And get some Red Loctite from Home Depot so its harder to unscrew

I'm in Miami all the time, and my antenna or car has never been so much as touched in the wrong way...

....ok, nevermind the JDM Shorty antenna question. What happenned was that I saw a couple of people on other forums post that they had a JDM shoty antenna, so I immediately assumed that I had failed to notice that the Fairlady had a shorter antenna (thus JDM antenna). BUT, now I realize that they are just using a JDM EVO antenna (not the really small Perrin EVO antenna). Oh well. I do like the s2000 antenna, but something just seems wrong about placing an s2000 part on a 350Z . Hey, for you guys with the S2000 antenna, does it just bolt right up or do you need an O-ring/washer/etc. Also, it's all black right ? Thanks for all the replies.
