Which rear spoiler?
Hi guys.
I just can't make a decision of which one to choose from:
Data Systems Rear spoiler
or
Mine's CF rear spoiler (replica)
Both have the same price including shipping.
But i was looking for a spoiler that don't need a drilling into the trunk lip. So far data Systems don't need to be drilled but stick on with double sided tape.
As for the mine's need to be drilled but on the OEM rear spoiler.
Also i quiet prefer a luxury looks or maybe a luxury sports looks.
I hope you guys can help me
Cheers

Since you asked for opinion, I will give you mine. I have never been a fan of "racing" style spoilers, unless of course that is what your intentions are. I am more into subtlety, so I can honestly say I'm not into the Mine's. Do you have a pic of the other spoiler? Not sure I like the idea of a spoiler that is fixed on by tape only. Even the factory spoiler, as small as it is, uses three bolts to hold it in place. Sorry if I burst your bubble in any way.

which one are you refering to? The Data Systems or the Mine's ?
Data systems you don't need to drill just tape it.
For mine's you need the OEM Spoiler and it drill the OEM rear spoiler and sit on top of it.

yes that would help me to make the decision.
Thanks
also when installing the Data rear, does it need to remove the OEM rear spoiler?
Is it hard to remove the OEM rear spoiler?
Oh another thing is.
I'm installing the Veilside VS1 Bodykit soon. Except i didn't get the Veilside rear spoiler because a drilling involve.
So what you guys think with the combination of Veilside V.1 (no Rear VS rear spoiler) with Data Systems or Mine's rear spoiler.
Thanks

the veilside version 1 kit will work with any spoiler...i kinda like both wings ...so if money is an issue i would go with the CF
cause painting teh data systems spoiler will cost an extra 200
data systems is a bit nicer

yeah i have been thinking of getting the Data systems as well. but thought the mine's is a good value as well ( for the CF replica i mean)
Also i believe in mine's aero, because they are quiet famous for their tuning machine. therefore it give me a hard decision. to choose.
toyamagroup.com have quoted me $365 not shipped yet. just because i live in overseas, it's cheaper for me to get it from japanparts.com

Not just because I have one, but definitely the data systems. Its a little difficult to remove the stock spoiler, you need to take off the interior trim, unbolt the spoiler, but it is still held on with double sided tape that is a ***** to get off. I took line from a rotary weed trimmer and duct taped it to 2 screwdrivers and sawed back and forth under the spoiler to lift the tape. Put a couple small scratches on the car, so duct tape the deck lid before you do it. The data systems pic is in my sig.
