Optimum No Rinse Wash and Shine - FAIL
Go to HD get a 5 gallon bucket and lid... Fill it and add a couple ounces. Put a couple dozen higher quality MFs folded in 4s... Always ready I keep two of those around at all times. 1 is for paint only an the other is for door jams, interior/windows and other general purpose where inflicting paint scratches and swirls are not a concern.
I doubr it, when you wash with this stuff you need to dry it off with a mf.. If you blow dry you will leave residue behind....
Full disclosure... This stuff doesn't touch my Z because of the risk of marring. On a DD average swirled car it is perfectly great. Also, great to wipe the compounding dust when correcting. S
o man uses!

i used it on my black z after paint correction, i put a couple scratches in it, but it was me doing something wrong (dropped towel). on the vette (prob because sealed and silver) i am not as ocd, but still have baby gloves on when washing
you sitting down????
nothing, the detailer had a g35 i helped him put coils, camber arms, and sways on... he considered it even trade. he didn't charge me to do the vette either. so was it worth it, hell yeah. my Z was the typical black car, swirls everywhere.. it looked pretty damn good when stulax took ownership of it

I listened to Trav and __________ (sorry....forget) about this stuff and use the entire catalog of Optimum listed above. I'm not an*l about it but I do like my cars clean and protected. So far, very happy.

Well gosh darn.... haha mine have swirls everywhere and i cant decide if i want paint reduction or respray. How did you keep it swirl free after? Like even with mf towels and a light hand, i still get a bit of new swirls everyday. Its impossible. Paint is too soft...

The consumer product is (gloss coat) Opti gloss... There are many glass coatings... I use 22ple, cquartz is also fine. Proper wash and drying technique (3 bucket method) proper cleaning and storing of MF, use dedicated MF and mitts.
What is the 3 bucket method? I know the 2 bucket but didnt know there was a 3 bucket technique. And how do you properly store MF? I though putting them in a drawer was good enough?
