I just took my headlights off to black out and after i reinstalled, I just saw that the the lower tip of my headlight does not connect to my bumper and it casts a shadow. the top part is fine. I am not sure if it's always like this or I did not push it in hard enough? Because I accidentally put too much butyl sealant and its really hard to push it anymore. It's sealed shut alright. But I am not sure if its wrong. Thank you very much!

Actually is there any way to fix this? Man I shouldn't have put too much sealant, it'll be a huge pain in the butt to remove the whole thing again. Any help would be appreciated.

Post pics and we'll be able to tell you if it's normal or not.

Probably normal, but as stated above, post some pics.

Pics will def help. However, if you're referring to the lowest corner that is closest to the Nissan emblem, it's normal. I have a slight gap there as well.
