The picture was taken by phone sorry for the bad quality, soon will take better pictures when the paint job is done .
Am taking about the two lines on 2003 OEM hood , the two lines have been cancelled / molded .

I bet it's going to look really good, more like a 911's hood.
I've wanted to do the same thing actually, removing those two groove lines in the hood.
Looking forward to seeing good pics...just park your car in the shade, or a parking garage and take new pics, the lighting in the paint booth and those reflections and glare is the problem with your picture...has nothing to do with the phone being your camera. If you see glare in the frame...you're going to see glare in the picture.
Changing the angle you take the picture from is how you reduce glare when you can't change the lighting. Just experiment.
Hope that helps, and what did you use to fill in the space? Regular bondo?

P.S. - a few people have gone HR hood for the same effect but regretted it since the HR hood blocks your view of the road a little...they switch back after awhile. This hood could look really nice, as the two lines seem a little dated on an otherwise timeless design of sweeping curves. It's the arrow pointed front of the two lines that look funky.

Match the spoiler to the car, no question for me. Makes for a more aggressive and clean look.
LOVE the clean hood...nice job in going for it and great job to whoever did it. Is on my project list now for sure.

oh...if you make the center black then all attention holds down in the black area and your eye has nowhere to go from there....just puts too much emphasis on the center when there's really no beautiful curve to pay attention to there, so why direct the eye to go there and die?
Red across the whole front spoiler will keep your eye sweeping across the car taking in the lines...will look more congruent with your hood choice of a clean sweeping classy design.

i didn't go with color match because in the future i might get diffuser / varis sides v1 or bottom line v1 sides. so, black will match
what do you think of rim color (gunmetal/black lip) instead of (chrome lip/gold)?
new pic of the hood vs oem hope you like it . note car not 100%done

What did they do to fill in the lines - I hope it wasnt straight body filler.
With the heat that the hood gets plus direct sunshine beating down on it, and the opening and closing of the hood I fear it will just begin to fall off in chunks.

It was done by using 2 thin aluminum sheets welded to the hood and smoothed

When you darken the lip you make it blend in with the tire so the center of the wheel is the only thing noticed since it's not blending in with tire....so what happens visually?, the wheel looks dinky like a ricer wheel on a cheap Honda.
Make the lip lighter silver than the center and it will look much much better. Or the same shade as center for the clean bold aesthetic. (My preference) Then later put the perfect tire that looks good while having your preferred driving characteristics. Love your car, sincerely thanks for sharing your result, I really want the same style hood now. Is it hard to find a good shop that can do this welding/bodywork? Not sure how big a deal it is to execute the bodywork? Most of my mods I do myself but this is way over my head hence my not doing it yet. Been wanting to for years.

Congrats on such a great car,
