Bride vs Sparco seats

Both are quality seats. Brides are probably right up there with Recaro for function and from what I know, quality.
But the MOST important thing is how they fit and function FOR YOU. Try 'em both out - and while you're at it, check out Recaro, Scheel, etc. You might decide that a $500 seat does as good a job - or better - than a more expensive, bought-for-the-name seat.
Whether they are worth it or not is up to you. My take is that if you're driving mostly on the street, either brand works just fine.
Back in the day (when S30s were still relatively new and when dinosaurs roamed the Earth, not sloshing around in your gas tank), we chose from Recaro, Scheel, and a couple of others occupying the "lower end" of aftermarket seats. I preferred Scheel as they fit my frame better than Recaro but that's me. I miss those seats....
Sidenote: Big ILLEGAL thing back then.... (not me, for real!! ) were "appropriated" BMW 320iS seats made by Recaro.... more like the generally available (aftermarket) Recaro Type N (narrows). Fit the early Z like a charm and available at half the cost of new from Midnight Auto Supply.
Again, I swear, I didn't buy into that......
Whatever you choose, MAKE SURE THEY PHYSICALLY FIT and the control levers and such are easily accessible in the Z33 before purchasing. Friend of mine once ordered Recaro LWs (wides) for his S30. Ummmm.... no fit due to the narrow confines of the cabin. He had fun returning them to AutoWorld (waaaaay pre-web mail order house).

Thanks for the input! I have a G35 coupe btw. =) I had sparco torinos a while back and they fit me nicely and were decently comfortable. They also fit the car nicely so I am leaning towards going Sparco again.
I was also looking at the Bride seats because they are also known for quality, though the fit is tighter. They are significantly more expensive than Sparco seats though. Not sure if it is just inflation due to coming from Japan and brand name hype.
I will look into some recaro seats as well.

Best bet would be to sit in any Sparco a friend might have to have a baseline for how they fit you and use the size charts they have on their websites to see exactly what you want...
Example 6'4 220lbs the Sparco Pro 2000 is a tight fit so the Pro 2000 II would be right up my ally

if you are in Colorado, not sure if trying them out is an option
if ordering them from a reputable vendor , you can get some guidance on sizing
you will need seats, sliders , rails
fwiw i have the bride digo type r , i am 5 ' 10 , 180 lbs, 36 " waist , they fit me great, far more comfortable/supportive than stock
can't say how they compare to sparco , never had sparco
i think i paid $2k - $2.5K to my door, with bride sliders and bride rails

Thanks!! I definitely don't think trying them out is an option. But since I have owned the sparcos before, I will need to just compare sizes and guesstimate. Will definitely be pickup up the rails and sliders at the same time. I will be using oem seat belts - for now at least. Not sure if I want to get harnesses or not.
I like the stock G seats, but the driver side is pretty torn up from age. I called infiniti and just the leather cover for EACH the top and bottom cushion are $1500+ each..

Ok so theres a lot of misinformation here. Let try and clear things up a bit.
First, both brides and sparco makes quality seats. No secrete there. HOWEVER, they also have different level of seats. You have seats like the sparco 100, fairly cheap, and it reflects that. Cushion isnt all there. Comfort is an meh. And the clothe is decent.
Secondly, seats should fit like a glove. The best way to see which seat works for you is visiting a dealer and sitting in them. Not just sit in a sparco and a bride, but different models of sparcos and brides. Things like bolster height and shoulder height varies between models, alone with comfort level.
Personally, you cant go wrong with either. I have a set of corbeaus and gave them away for my sparco. My corbeaus were alot more comfortable than the sparco, but the sparco are decent enough for my needs. Beside i like the looks better on the sparco.
