2005 z doors
Hello everyone my name is lupe, it is a pleasure to be a member to this amazing forum. I have a 2005 z with damage to my driver door and about to get an estimate, the guy tells me my door is aluminum and thus much more expensive to fix. Can anyone tell me if this is so?

The only body panel that came from the factory in aluminum was the hood, but I guess it's possible (but highly unlikely) that a previous owner replaced the steel doors with aluminum? Easiest way to tell is to take a fridge magnet and put it on the door - if it sticks it's steel, if it slides off.. then the magnet was too weak or the door is aluminum. I'm betting it will stick, and you should find a body guy that won't try to rip you off!
