Hello Everyone

Just picked up my 2007 Touring Z Roadster (love it)
Question I have is on the lower passenger side dashboard panel, that includes the power outlet cover, my door would not stay shut. Upon further investigation I learned the tab that holds the tension spring had broken. I beefed this up with epoxy, but am hesitant to reinstall what seems to me a very stiff/ heavy spring.
Has anyone purchased something different, or rigged up an alternate method to keep the door shut
