Default Why Are the Upgraded Lights Dimmer? | Lasfit Reveals

If you’ve been keeping up with Lasfit lately, you’ve probably noticed our recent wave of upgraded products. Not only have we launched the T3 turn signal lights with enhanced decoding system, but we’ve also released the new and improved L2-T20 series, building on the L-T20 series.

One customer installed two Lasfit products on his 2012 Honda CR-V: the L-T10R (400LM/bulb) on the upper tail lights and the L2-7443R (800LM/bulb) on the lower tail lights. Surprisingly, the upper lights appeared much brighter than the lower ones! So, why does the upgraded L2-T20 seem dimmer than the L-T10R?

The answer lies in Lasfit's energy-saving design. The L2-T20 series is designed to operate at a lower brightness when the engine is off to reduce power consumption. When you start the engine, the voltage increases, allowing the tail lights to shine brighter. So, it’s not that the upgraded light is dimmer—it’s just more energy-efficient. Once you're driving and the tail lights are on, they actually become brighter than the L-T10R!

And if you're after the brightest red brake/tail lights, the T3 series is the way to go. With a whopping 2000LM/bulb (Max), it offers a whole new level of brightness, ensuring safer driving.

In summary, the L2-T20 series isn't dimmer; it's designed to save energy and shine at full brightness when you need it most—while driving. If you’ve got any more questions about the L2-T20 series, feel free to drop a comment below!
