New here and thought someone might be able to help. I recently got the spec D switchback projector headlights for my 03. After installing only the drivers side led bar stays amber and doesn't turn white or go through the cycle animation when turning on the car. Passenger side works fine, just not sure why drivers side doesn't change to white? not sure if anyone else has had this issue before but any help would be appreciated

 

Which Spec D lights did you get?

Post a pic or two of your drivers side harness connector if you can.

 

 

Ah, you got the sequential switchback with the GT-R lightning bolt. It looks like the yellow/green/black wires from the harness control the lightning bolt. It could be that the yellow and green wires are reversed. Generally speaking, the yellow wire will be the 12v+ trigger for the amber turn signal and the green wire is the 12v+ trigger for the parking light while the black is the ground (-). However, if the white LED function doesn't work at all on the driver's side when you cycle the turn signal or any other lighting function, then my guess is that you got a defective unit. I would reach out to Spec D or the settler where you purchased them and return them for a new set, or see if they can ship you a new driver's side unit.
