the paint job will complete it..dont paint too much of the CF though....how much of a weight savings does it have compared to an FRP top secret kit?

It's not just you. The front of the sideskirt doesn't look much better. Hopefully it's just an initial test fit.

Ches, have you lowered your car? Theres still quite a wheel gap there. But from the looks of the front bumper, it sits pretty low already right? Do you have problem driving up/down curbs and driveways without scratching?

OMG- I want
I'm thinking that if you did something similar to what John did, it would look really good (to paint the whole front bumper, but leave the lip portion exposing the cf, and leaving the side skirts and rear as is). It looks amazing and will probably save about 20 pounds (maybe) but I'm predicting cost to be around 5 grand =[

5 grand? no way!!! i would never have them jack up the price.. the whole reason for doing this is to get superior strength over fiberglass using CF and keeping the cost relatively the same.

i'll try to get the retail and street pricing for you guys soon--

Yep it may be good job but its really easy to have a mold done from something that has been aready made. I have the means to do it but I just choose not to.

I know Fiber Images has the skills to make original body kits. Its just kind of lame to make something thats aready existing from Top Secret.

Top secret of Japan is a Top tuner company that support the Z33 amoung other great cars. I hate to see that their designers and engineers has gotten their hard work ripped off.

Lack of patience and price is no excuse to blantanly steal a design.

It a around and around topic. People generaly have no patience and want something cheap and otainable.

If Hyundai made a 350z knock off car with a little less quaility and same design I think most people would be little pissed off. Especailly the designers and enginners from Nissan.
