Thanks for the info and sorry to hear about your car. You had one of the nicer Z's on here IMHO. Hope you are alright.

I love the way these look and want to do the same but I have no idea how to go about it. I found the lights, but they're not HID so I would need some bulbs or something to make them as bright as the ones on this car. That's where I get confused, do I buy the HID "converter" thing or the cheap "White Light" bulbs? Can anyone help me, I'd really like to install this on my car. Thank you all in advance.

Default What specfic Bulbs?

I agree. I am confused on the parts needed.

It is clear that the Round lens case is a a hella 71456.

Big AL put in an H1 which are a bit more expensive and Toykilla put in PIAA but not sure what part #.

To Toykilla..
If you have a part # or better description to the PIAA part would be great.

The pics you have of the mounting panels are great.
I plan on taking these to my audio store, for them to see.
I think they can do it all, but if you have researched and found a set of bulbs or lamps that match pretty close to the Xenons, you can save me and probably several other guys a lot of trial and error.

thanks

What did he mean by H1, is that a bulb or something? I really want to do this, but want to have all the parts ready before I start so I can do it right. Also, I'm getting the idea that in order to make the headlights and foglights match it can get expensive, what if they had yellow lights? Just an idea, I know it would look much better if they all match. Please help...

Default Confused too.

From what I have been able to figure out the H1's are expensive because they need a ballast. ?????

Big Al got H1s and says they cost about $400.00.

Toykilla put in some"PIAA" bulbs which were very close to the
color of the Xenons, but I can't get anyone or him to respond back to tell us which bulbs. His bulbs cost like $120.00.

Can anyone help?

I guess I'll just have to go at it and hope for the best. Maybe I'll learn something along the way, if so I'll share it with you guys. I just hope I don't mess anything up.

Am I the only one who's having problems connecting to the link? I thought that maybe it was because I don't have cable so I sent the link to my friend but it doesn't work for her either. I really want these... Help?

No there was no sarcasm, I was truly thanking you. After you contacted me I did as you told me and it worked fine, I must of done something wrong somewhere. The great job part was about all the pictures, hopefully I'll be able to start on it this weekend. Thank you once again.

I guess emoticons (smilies) really play a part in interpretation on this board. I just had someone on this board say that they hated me for posting up a sad dog story... no emoticon, so it might be a joke or he might've really meant it.

Mine are very bright with a whitish bluish tint to them. I have the PIAA 1100X and I occasionally get bright lighted by cars coming at me in the opposite lane. They are adjusted correctly but they really light up the front of the car nicely. These are brighter than the factory HIDs. Here is a picture....(sorry I don't have a pic with the lights on).

what do you guys think about the hella black magic kit? i have a super black so i'm thinkin that it would go really well with it. and it seems like they would be very easy to install, they housing in only 3" deep. that could possibly fit in front of the plastic protector that toykilla used? tell me your 2 cents guys
