I just had a thought today... Can harness bar be machined of aluminum ond only for driver side? is there anything in that devider where dynamics and glove box are to bolt the bar to?

Is there anything like that on the market?
I can't imagin it'll be that difficult to produce, and it'll be light and look very nice from aluminum like that:

 

I don't think there is anything there to bolt too, but I may be wrong.

Seems like it would be easier to make the bar go across the length of the car. Is there a reason you are going against that?

 

Yes, it'll limit rear visibility even further (we don't have much to start with, do we?) and it'll also make the cabin crowded.

Can that bar on picture bolted to the floor in the trunk then?
