Splash guards VS NO splash guards
I personally prefer the look without the splash guards. This car look familiar Rod?
I will say though that I'm getting a Veilside front lip as well as Eibach springs and my concern is the rear still looking a bit high and the rear splash guards do help make it look lower.

I took the rear ones off - it looks much better. I think I'm going to take the fronts ones off too - they don't help any - after driving on wet roads the sides of my car are still covered with water and dirt.
I took the rears off mine last summer after one of them got jacked up when I dodged a raccoon that ran in the road. I left the fronts on, and love how the car looks with just those on. I changed one of my sideskirts yesterday (also got messed up w/ the raccoon incident) and saw all the muck on my front splash guard. I'm glad it's there. I dont want that on the body.
I removed just my rears. The fronts don't look to bad, and I probably wont take them off untill i get a body kit of some sorts.
Here's a few pics (none are exactly what I was looking for, but I hope you can kinda get the idea).

*i have full sizes of the last two if anyone wants them

I think I'm going to leave my fronts on because there's too much sand on the roads in Florida. When it rains, I get dirt on the fender and doors so I don't know if the guards are even doing anything. I also prefer the look without the guards, but I think I'll just remove the rears.
My driveway is gravel/sand and was really worried about chips/muck getting on the car and after 3 or so months haven't noticed any ill effects from removing the splashguards. When mud does get on the car it's in the same places it got when the splash guards were on. There's a lot of sand and bits of crap on the roads here and haven't noticed any chips/scratches either. The front guards do look better than the rears, but the car looks better over all without either. The lines are just a lot cleaner and flowing, and I like how the sideskirts just dip a lil in the front and rear. I say C. ya won't regret it.

Btw those silver gtcs look great, are they 18's or 19s?

I want to see a pic after you get the lip and lowered, since I am thinking of the lip too.
btw, do you ever notice that teh rear end of the silver car looks longer than the other colors when you look at it straight on from the side. I think it is the color that gives that illusion.
I just lowered mine .75" in the rear and it looks noticably lower (the rear end).

The difference between your car and mine will be that the Eibachs drop the car in the rear 1.2" and I have 285 profile tires which are a little taller than the 275.
I will be picking up the Veilside lip from a guy at the ATCO meet we are having in NJ April 25th so I should have it installed and painted by mid-May. I will post pics. again so that you can see the difference.
I would love to see pictures of your car now with the .75" drop.

Just curious how those bigger wheels are working out for you?

I get alot of complements on the wheels tho. Especially from the 'vette guys. They love the look of the Z from behind with the wide wheels. I figure if I ever want to track the car, I'll pick up some 18s or something. But untill then, its all about the bling.

I dont even notice the splashguards on mine. I think they look fine. Honestly, they just arent drastic enough for me to bother removing them.

Ditto to UsafaRice. Mine are exactly the same way (lines from the tire grooves and all) from the sandblasting they take in my new housing development. There is always gravel/sand/rocks in the road that have pelted the inside of the guards. I'd hate to think of what it would look like without them...
