Yellow Xenon???
I just saw some pics of the WideBody 350Z at the Tokyo Auto Salon and it appears to have yellow xenons. Does anybody know if those xenons are available here in the US or possibly in France?!?
they are, or I assume they are. theres a member on clubsi with a 350z that has them.
his name is wicked4u2c, which there is one on this forum as well. I dont know if they are the same person though.

I just got a reply from Hid tech.
I didn't even think about the laws here in CA. I better check the DOT. By chance, does anyone know if this can be used in CA?
Hi Mario.
Thanks for your inquiry.
You may please check your state regulation and see if yellow is allowed to use in the low beam first. Otherwise it might bring you some potential problem.
Those yellow capsule are good for halogen. I don't think it can stand HID. Anyways. we have some Philips 3000K yellow hid bulbs. Let us know if you are interested. They produce very bright pure yellow like you see in those DTM and Le man race.
Regards
Sean

Yeah, I hear cops out in Cali are pretty rough at times!!! In Germany I won't have that problem, well at least not with the lights...The other performance upgrades that I'm looking into might be a whole different story
I know some people are having problems tracking down HID's now a days, but CATZ just recently released the first as far as I know yellow HID bulb. For those with factory HID's it would be as simple as changing bulbs, which takes 10 minutes...I have 7000K in mine...looks sick with the DB color @ night
