thanks guys, i think i 'll just buy it cause i plan on doing a few things on my car myself.....save a few bucks in labor charges...and lets face it, no matter how much you pay someone to work on your car usually they never give it as much love as you would
I had the service manual, pretty good with a screw driver.
theres one fastener that I could not get off at all. maybe I lacked the proper tool, but I dont know what tool that was.
I had to destroy the bumper to remove it, when I put on the new bumper I didnt refasten it. donno how youd take it off and put it back on.

AAGGGHHHHH!!!!! Please dont say that you're scaring me.....i just want to put on a lip skirt in the rear but i need to drill two small holes just above the muffler tips in that arch there, that is one of the attachment points of the skirt......i guess my other option is to take off the muffler drill the two holes up there put the skirt on then reinstall the muffler.....this is to do my prefitment on my body kit before taking it to the body shop....i want to make sure it fits properly, i dont trust body shops to "get it right the first time"
Here is a quick illustration of what i am trying to install....if teh bumper is a pain to take off then is taking off the muffler a bit easier? I have a really good jack and jack stands to do this myself.....the side skirts and front lip are easy no worries there its this rear section that is bugging me.....any ideas on the easiest way to handle this? I want to know beforehand what is involved in doing this so when i go to the body shop i can let them know what i did to get the kit on and off .......Im hoping the more information i give them the better the end result will be.....

I think you will find it easier to remove the muffler if you have stock exhaust. There are bumper brackets that are riveted in and you have to drill them out and then replace them on the re-install. That is what I got out of the shop manual (page EI 19)
