powder coating engine pieces?!?!
i was just wondering... can you powder coat plastics? cuz i've never seen a powder coated plastic before but always on metals. im thinking... b/c it's magnetically attached to the metal so that it doesnt scratch or peel off and it takes the shape of the metal if it were dented.
question is, paint or powder coat engine plastic covers if powder coating is possible?
tnx!

there are certain plating options(the hamburger for example), but all in all unless your wanting a shiny chrome like finish, paint is more durable on plastic.
and as they said, powdercoating isnt possible due to the baking process.

Im not sure of the details, but its a powder that I think is electricly charged to cling, but then it is baked/melted onto the surface for a real strong bond. but I think its cooked at 4 or 500degrees or so. maybe higher. definitly higher than plastic would melt at though.
