Default Compression Hose Fittings?

I see a couple people have anodized fittings on their hoses in the engine bay. I assume these are compression fittings of sort to replace the stock clamps.

Anyone know where to find these, anyone who has a kit of all the sizes needed for the Z, etc?

Default Pi-thon........

You can get them at www.pi-thon.com They have a kit for the 350Z - $200 + shipping. Includes connectors for: upper radiator hose (2), the long water hose from side to side on front of engine (2), radiator overfill (1), PCV hose (1), small vacuum hose at rear of plenum - goes from top rear of throttle body (2) & smaller vacuum hose that runs from passenger ide of plenum to a connection at the battery box (2). They also incluse a pair of small wrenches for each connector.

I'm in the process of installing them now - will finish this Friday. Will post pics then. The install is pretty straight-forward. The 1/4" connectors (small vacuum line at rear of plenum) are the only ones so far that don't clamp down on the hose real REAL tight, but tight enough for a vacuum hose - works good. After install of the kit, I may individually order a few extra fittings for a few other hoses...just to complete the look - maybe upper clamp for the lower radiator hose & 1 for a hose that runs near the lower radiator hose. That'a about the only ones lacking. I'm doing them in red with black silicone Samco hoses.

Default

Which ones did you get? There seems to be lots of different styles on the website.

I guess I'd have to call to see about kits.. as they don't list any on the site.

I have a set of samco hoses (red) coming (argh.. if they'll ever get here). I'm doing all red accents in my bay.. but not sure what'd I'd do here. As the reds wouldn't match. Maybe black or a brushed look.

Default Have to call them........

Yes, if you look at their website you won't know what you're doing - ha! Too much stuff! You have to call to order the 350Z kit. Call 888.474.8466 & ask for Patty - she just did a kit for me so she knows what the kit's all about. Tell her Jack in KY just ordered a set in red - she should remember.

With your red Samcos, I think the brushed aluminum would look great! Almost did that myself. Don't do the red hoses & red anodized clamps - as you said, they won't match & would look quite irregular.
