Default My SB with cleared and blacked out headlights!

I decided to clear and blacken my headlights with the help of my friend. Here is the result. People weren't lying when they said it is time consuming. I went more than just taking the amber strip off. I also blackened out the outer chrome strip of the headlights. I basically sanded it with steel sandpaper. Then put two coats each of primer, semi gloss black paint, then clear coat. Comments appreciated. These pics don't do them justice. I just put in my Bride seats yesterday too. Hopefully, I'll have pics of them by the weekend.

My turn signals are from evo-style and my parking lights are the natural colored glass bulbs kind that emit a white bluish tint.

Special thanks to Mgl's DIY post on how to open up the headlights and Drew's post on the bulbs to use. I got the ideas from them .

For anyone that likes the black lights, but are affraid of opening it up, I think Bats full headlight-light colored overlay is a GREAT option. You can't really see them real well in the pics, but in real life they look great. It takes the chrome and brightness out of the lights and makes them look very aggressive. In fact, I am sending my $$ out tomarrow for a pair, will post pics later.

Subtle, but noticable. Definately tones down the chrome look.I have the light tint on my headlights. Here's a pic of mine:
