OK, I'm gonna hijack. rodH, your 350 looks DOPE!! Super clean.

And djkern, Mr. Sparkle avatar is great. Good choice.

Ok. Back to complaining about M3powers behavior.....

Dude, you are taking things WAY too seriously. Barrybell was making a friendly crack at you. We were all thinking the same thing he was, he just beat everyone to the punch. Now that we know how you intend to mod your taillights so you can still signal, it makes a little more sense.

As far as how anybody RESPONDS to the appearance of your mod, well....thats subjective. Opinions aren't positive by default. Thats the point, right? If you post a pic of something custom, and expect EVERYONE to love it, you are being unrealistic. We all bought the same car with the same appearance(more or less)so we all agreed at some point that the looks of the 350 could be described as attractive. Once you start changing things, you interrupt that dynamic.

Its your car. If you like it then you should be happy. I know that positive reactions from your peers re-enforces how good/bad you feel about the descisions you make when modding, but if someone doesn't see your work as necessarily an "improvement", you should at least respect their opinion enough, and be MAN enough to at least treat them with respect.

Perhaps the taillights could be [custom] extended to compensate for the big area of nothingness around the rear...

so now you have no reverse lights...

and now you have no signals...

and your tail lights are painted so they are dimmer than stock...

Regardless of what wiring you did, I cant imagine the results being too safe or aesthetically pleasing. The Z pictured looks like a bathtub. Nice work.

Oh well, bumpers can always be replaced.. unless its photoshopped, hard to tell.

yea I was just gonna say, it didn't look real... like how it's kinda fuzzy where the signals would be. But what the hell do I know

That new rear end ... looks even larger than the Supra's ... just a huge mass of white plastic. To each his own, though.

reminds me of some body kits Ive seen for other cars. ussually sedan type cars where the body kit is much longer than stock to make the car look lower than it really is. but it ends up just being a vast sheet of plastic.

I'm not gonna say anything about the comments and what not, but when I saw the picture of the rear it did look photoshopped. I think the huge white area on the back now is magnified by the blacked out lights. Still undecided if I like it or not, but hey it is different. As long as you like it who cares what anyone else thinks, but seeing as how you did post a picture/thread, I'm sure you were ready for everyones opinion whether it was good or bad. More power to you.

they do put those big red things on the back of a car for a reason, and that is the safety of everyone on the road. by covering those and driving on the street you put everyone in danger, including yourself. In all honesty it looks good for a show mod. but for street use, it is down right dangerous.

i think that the bumper looks cool. the only thing i would change would be to take off the blackout covers. not because it is unsafe just cause they don't look that good. i think maybe yellow leds for the top of taillight would fix the turning signal problem and would looks great with your bumper. i have seen a z with those kinds of taillight maybe you can find them somewhere
