Question removing plastic panels in trunk

Hello all! I hope this is the right forum. I was wondering if someone can help me out. I'm trying to remove the plastic panels in the trunk. Specially where the rear strut brace is located. Does anyone have step by step procedures, maybe with pictures as well?

I've got some kind of squeaking when I drive over some bumps. Just annoying the crap out of me.

Start with the middle piece in the back where the trunk light is and then work your way around by popping the panels out one by one. The middle piece is somewhat different in where the bottom of it pops out towards the front of the car where the top of it near the trunk latch pops straight up. Also, some of them might not want to go but they will just make sure you do it evenly so as not to snap off any plastice tabs. If you don't feel comfortable doing it then I would suggest you get your hands on a service manual off of Ebay or something, it has some diagrams that can show you what you want to see. Good luck.

I know this is bringing an old thread back to life, but I was so happy that I pinpointed the "squeaking" noise the other night that I wanted to share with everyone if they were having this issue.

The squeaking noise or at least MY squeaking noise is NOT coming from the rear struts bar plastic covers(I found this out the hard way). My squeaking noise is coming from the huge plastic panel that covers the back of the rear hatch. The one that covers where your rear wiper motor is located.

You can test this out by opening the hatch and pressing down and up on the plastic panel and you will get the same squeaking noise.

I'm leaving for a road trip right now, so I haven't come up with a solution to stop the squeaking, but half the battle is done by locating the damn source!! I've taken off the plastic panel for now and totally no more squeaking!! I am such a happy camper right now!

I'll buy some felt tape when I come back and see if I can fix it and put it back on.

I hope this helps anyone else to pinpoint their squeaking annoyance!

I should really make this into a new thread with a more descriptive title.

Give an update? I wasn't the original poster. Just adding some info and possible giving an answer to the question in case someone else does a search for this like I did.
