ok, ive been told by many different companies that they can make a burnt orange shift boot for our cars, and time after time it hasnt gone through....i dont understand how our car has been out for almost 2 yrs and no one has put this on the market. Cant anyone get their hands on some Nissan Burnt Orange or some Classic Soft Trim "pumpkin" color PLEASE??!!

im sure im not the only one here who is frustrated with this not being available yet for the Z.

i too am looking for the actual full burnt orange leather boot, not just the stiching, hopefully somone will chime in......ive seen a few people with orange shift boots but the colormatch wasnt perfect & looked tacky to me.........

Also, for those that know the leather ... the leather used in my boots is Classic Soft Trim ... same, exact leather Nissan uses ... the color is EXACT ... if you happen to have an orange boot you got from me, please post a pic for other members ... thanks !!!

mdacko and Tim already have their boots made ... they used the last of the leather that my neighbor had ... 4 boots ome from a sheet ... we are on a new sheet now ... you are 1 .... just need 1 other ... I'll cover the other 2 ...

It is Nissan's orange ... could be the camera, but it matches Nissan exact ... after all, it is from the same leather manufacturer.

 

probably the camera. can you guys do anything else in leather? i'd really like some burnt orange armrest covers.

 

Not really an "us guys" .... just my neighbor that owns a leather shop ....

But to answer your question, he can make anything you desire ... all he does is custom work. His staff does the day to day stuff. Just be preparred to be without your sample (in your case the arm rests) for a few days.

 

man somone else please jump in on this, i want the orange shift & ebrake boots! 350trackz, that leather looks amaizing! im getting stoked now wish i could find another buyer!!!

Your boots will be finished this week and should ship out this weekend via USPS Priority mail (Tim, I will meet you for the swap). My neighbor had a death in the family or they would have been done today.

Price is $35 ... please paypal to mikegronholz@tds.net when you can (boot won't ship though until I have $$$). Again, all of these boots are orange with black thread.

no offense, i probably shouldnt ***** but i didnt know there was no thread color choice! i dont remember you saying the thread was black only truthfully mike, mabey thats what somone else requested.......i was actually hoping for an exact match to my orange seats wich is orange leather with orange thread, hense all the ranting & raving i was doing about wanting a perfect match. i appreciate all the effort by all means but is there anyway i can get the orange matching thread in my boot before they are made? i really wouldnt put you through this if i was aware of the thread being black, i honestly can say you never mentioned that to me.........im looking for a factory appearance. please let me know mike, thankyou again for all your time!

Orange thread is no problem at all !!! I though you had mentioned black thread ... I will have yours made with orange thread ... same price ... no biggie ... my mistake.

Again yours will be oragne leather with orange thread, the other 2 (actually 3 now) will be with black thread unless someone else wants orange (or any other color thread).
