Long story short:

I wrecked my Z in a rain storm. I want to get a Nismo spoiler.

Do they have fit and finish problems?
What is the cost difference between the rep and Nismo?

I searched and found even the Nismo factory one has some f/f issues.

Where can I find a Nismo spoiler?

I tried searching but couldnt find much out of the 4 pages that came up.

350Zforums.org have it for like $200 something. It is the replica. I think it's better to buy from one of our sponsers than on Ebay. Just in case the wing too bad of a quality, you can just send it back. From Ebay you wouldn't be able to.

I've tested the Nismo Spoiler. Their is no fit and finish problem. the only thing you need to becarefull with is who install it. Make sure that they know what the heck they are doing. The only time you may see a fit and finish problem with the real nismo spoiler is in extreme heat where you may see a small gap in the rear center of the spoiler, but it will return to it's original condition after it cools.

 

when i wrecked my car before i started working at performance.. i had the body shop put a nismo replica spoiler on... i was one of the first with a nismo replica installed...

most of them fit OK for fiber glass pieces.. they all need alot of prep work from the body shop...
