Default 3M protection on top of Zaino???

Greetings from Scotland!

Just wondering if any of you guys could help.....

Im about to fit some type of 3M protection to my car.
The previous owner had put 2 or 3 coats of Zaino on it.
As Zaino isn't available in the UK the fitter doesn't know
about it and can't garantee the film will adhere well to the
body without removing the Zaino first which I don't
really want (can't be bothered) to do!!

Help!!
Anyone using Zaino put 3M film straight on top??
Any adhesion issues??

Thanks
George

Don't install the 3M over the Zaino. 3M makes a wax, bug, stain remover that will prep your finish for the PPF. I just used it on my Z that had dupont's teflon wax on it. The 3M PPF went on beautifully.

Good luck...if you haven't installed the stuff before.

defintly needs to be removed. dont have to clean the whole car, just where the bra is going.

and you can get zaino if you wish, Im pretty sure zaino ships overseas.
