Default Car Cover (water repellant)

This is for my wife's 02 Maxima Car Cover made by Noah. It resisted rain when I first got it, but since washing it a few times, it does not repel water at all.

My question is this.

Can I just scotchguard the outside of the car cover? Of course I will do this off the car and let it sit for a week without putting it on the car.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi There,

The noah isn't a great cover for rainy weather. Call covercraft at 800 4covers and ask if scotchguard is ok to use. You need to go with a weathershield.
