Default ALCANTARA Interior!

hi i was wondering how hard it would be to put alcantara on my door panels. would there be and stitching involved becauese my mom is good at that. I thought all i would have to do is get spray glue and glue the fabric on to the plastic. and also would it be hard to put it on the strut bar plastics?

I got this idea from a friend with an S4 and he has that fabric it feels and looks way better than the plastic would.

Thanks

It could turn into a huge mess if you just start gluing pieces here and there.

Honestly, I would take your car to a pro custom shop... tell them what you want... and have them bid you.

If it's worth it, do it. Otherwise, let your Z be what it is.

If you wanted that interior, go buy an SC430.

Also chiming in to say if you don't already know what you're doing, it is probably going to turn into a huge mess that will mar the interior of your Z.

it wont be that bad as long as you test fit ,test fit, and test fit, BEFORE you glue anything. if you can make it to fit without glue, then glue it and it should look great. let us know how it turns out... i'm thinking of covering my upper door panels as well.

well, Id assume glue would be used, but being able to sew, and knowing how to properly make a peice for the panel that will fit perfectly is a whole nother thing.
