Thumbs up Bat's Door Barrel Overlays!(PICS)

I really like the way these turned out . The nice thing about them is that they dont look like some thick added on piece. Enjoy!

zdb1 Door Barrel Overlay $12 a pair. $15 for Carbon Fiber Finishes.

Email me to order.

Carbon Fiber Finish, white Carbon Fiber available as well .

Bat,

Those overlays are awesome. Two questions. Do you have a picture of the door barrell overlay in silver (metallic or chrome) that matches the door handles? Also are you going to be doing an overlay for the vent barrell on the edge of the dash? Thanks.

Don't have pics of silver yet. I'm sure people will post their pics once they've installed them. As for the vent barrel, we'll see.

Hey Bat,

Since this is a compound curve piece of plastic the vinyl is being appied to, do you recommend use of an adhesive promoter to keep the vinyl from lifting after a few hot/cold cycles?

I had to do this on my celi door barrels when I did them (was more complex than the z barrel).

Well, I haven't had any problems with that at all. I've ran both the heater an ac with no pee4ling or lifting whatsoever. I used a hairdryer during application, which helps with the adhesion.

Bat... how well do these overlays hold up under sunlight?

I'd hate to buy these and then in 3 years have to try to get them off because they are faded/discolored/peeling-off.

I use a 7 Year High POerformance Vinyl, the best stuff for this kind of application. I had them on my Celica for several years with no signs of fading or peeling!
