I told some peeps I'd take some pics of the Ings replica kit out of the box...but I forgot to do that before I dropped it off at the body shop..SORRY....but just to let you know, it needs prep work..thats a given. The skirts aren't totally smooth if you look at them at an angle...the front looks ok, and the rear may need a little work on a little wave or two...otherwise it looked decent. They don't start working on it until 8/23 though and most places I went to didn't seem to thrilled to do it cuz they say its a pain in the ***.
As for price...for test fit, prep, install, paint w/blending and another color for part of the front lip and rear bumper...he told me about 1500.00...i may even have the front molded to the bumper too...not sure. Hopefully it comes out looking sweet. One place told me "don't expect it to look like stock though no matter how good a job we do since kits usually suck."

umm..1500 is a pretty good price..assuming this is a full bumper not a lip kit
these pieces need to be taken on and off to fit and its all worth it in the end
my replica esprit kit is much stronger than i thought it would be..but not strong enough to withstand the little fender bender i had yesterday..time to replace it...thats the only ***** with these kits..when they crack badly its a PITA

yeah...1500.00 is a little up there if you go by what people on here said...i heard 800-1000 totals...but everyone around my area quoted me around 1500.00...one was as high as up to 1800.00.
I dealt with the shop I chose before with the couple fender benders my wife had and the paint job they did for my Grand Prix...so i know they do a great job. I could have went to an Import place that really specializes in kits...but I don't know there work and I heard people leave there dissatisfied.

no reason to go to an import place especially if it will be a hassle
its very hard for shops to quote a custom job like that cause they wont really know how many times they will have to install and remove the bumpers to ensure proper fitment
some shops quote high just to cover their *** ...IMHO its worth the extra 300 bucks for a hassle free experience that you are happy with
