Default Data System wing on my black Z

For anyone that wants to see pics...took some before and after shots. Not stuck down yet because I'm taking it back to the shop to see if they could repaint. I see a couple fingerprints plus I want them to really smooth it out.

lemme try to bring up the tally on the Z board for you man.
The wing looks great!!!
alott better with the wing than without.
now just get them bastards to repaint it correctly.
I never settle for a half assed job.
My body kit is being painted as we type. If theres a problem with the finish or color, they'll be repainting the entire kit at THEIR expense, BEFORE i take it away from the shop too. I'm gonna check every damn piece BEFORE i leave. I don't want any excuses. Their job is to paint **** the right way. The same as it is for other people to do their jobs correctly. Can you imagine a dentist or doctor half assing their jobs ??
"sorry man, i couldnt match your other front tooth up with correct size one", something a dentist would tell you. Then you end up walking around with a damn 1 " beaver tooth next to your original front tooth.

Point is, people need to be RESPONSIBLE for their work.
don't let them try to recharge you either.
good luck man

It's not a wing, it is a spoiler!

I've had mine on my Daytona Blue for quite awhile now. I haven't seen any other spoiler I like as much so far. Understated, but still more noticable than stock.

BTW, I've got a 98 GTP. I didn't really think about it at first, but I had both cars in the driveway one day sitting side by side. When I was mowing down the yard toward the cars, I realized the profiles between the two spoilers were kind of similar

Do you need screws to install that or double sided tape? How much did you pay for it? Its definitely one of my favorite spoilers.

double sided tape, 398 + 50.00 shipping. Yeah...its subtle yet not stock...makes a huge differnce IMO

werd Christobal...i'm looking at the kit before I leave too...but I'm gonna tell to make sure that the kit wont look like my spoiler or it will have to get done over...why try to skip a process to save time whne you'd have to do 2x the work if the customer complains and wants it done over.

I only paid 70.00 to get teh spoiler done...maybe thats why it looks like junk...quick spray and thats all? I told him i wanted it prepped to be smooth and ****..dur.

Very nice! I chose the same spoiler, as it compliments the lines of the car better than the stock spoiler.

Vice, love the name. reminds me of when i watched "miami vice". cool show.

no seriously, the guys at the paint shop will skip steps because the average "joe" will accept crappy work.

They'll paint 10 wings the easy way, and if 1 dude complains, they'll be like , sorry, we'll paint it again. So, they actually only have to repaint 1 outta 10 per say. Get it, they dont have to prep 9 outta 10, thats how they make money.
all i know is, i told sparky at my paint shop 1 major importance.
"THE COLOR BETTER MATCH, HOLMES!!!! "
or you'll be repainting the entire kit.

CHristobal....i came up with the name cuz I loved the 1986 season of Miami Vice..so i'm vice86. Its the name I use on any forum I'm on and chat apps...but some doof in Germany got vice86 before I could...i got to chat with him...he chose it cuz vice started in Germany in 1986. I tried to tell him to give it up, but he wanted money for it...DAHUR.

I hear what your saying about the wing....kids with their accords and civics probably don't really give a crap so its acceptable. I don't have a sweet car like a Z to have sub par painted stuff to put on it...HELL NO!!!!
