Dashboard rattle?
My Z has 6500 miles on it and is starting to make alot of little anoying noises. The dash is really buging me. Does anyone else have this problem? Will the dealer fix this under warenty work. It just sucks to have a new car with old car issues already.

HAHAHAHA.... i don't mean to be an ***, but the only thing i can do about it at this point is laugh. Get used to it, turn your radio up, roll the windows down, drive the car hard... whatever you can do to drown the annoying sounds out, because this car makes noise.
My car rattles like a ****, especially in the mornings or when its colder out.
The security light near the window rattles
The rear view mirror rattles
The area behind the fact nav compartment rattles
The rear strut brace rattles
My seat creaks
My Axels make noise (parts on order hopefully here sometime soon)
Like I said I don't mean to be an ***, but welcome to nissan build quality. I have a convertible that rattles less, but the annoying rattle in the roof right behind your ear makes up for it.
I tried taking it to the dealer. All they did was take apart the dash, add some sound deadining material and then did a shotty job of putting the dash back together. Some parts don't even line up anymore. A serious waste of my time.
Sorry to say, you own a nissan. A beautiful nissan that people will die for, but the interior still reaks of nissan.

I have every single rattle mentioned above except for the axle one. Someone needs to pride themselves in build quality so the consumers can actually get what they pay for.

The absolute worst is when someone new takes a ride in your nice new car that looks all fancy. They get in and then start hearing the orchestra of noises and you are embarrased. I feel the same way, I paid good hard earned money for this car and streched myself a little to get into it. I expected the interior to be a little more thought out and put together.

Yep, ditto. I've got a ton o' rattles in my interior. Supposedly the warranty on this stuff is only 12k, so if you've got 'em, you'd better bring it up to your dealer quick. I took mine in about the homelink rearview mirror 3 times. After 2 months, rattles again. Not happy... At least the dealer told me if I have to bring it back again, I'll get a new one. Again, if you've got problems with the interior, make sure you bring them to the dealer's attention before 12k! Good luck!
