The outline of the Stillen reminds me of ...

 

... and the Stillen nose also reminds me of one the pre-production proposals for the 350Z...

 

ZZTopp! Did you get your new Stillen front end installed yet? If so, we want to see pix!

 

We really have to see it in a couple of colors without the splitter. I'll tell you what, I kinda like it quite a bit . And it's made of Urethane!! No cracking on the miserable streets of Tampa. I'd love to see it on a SuperBlack. (Starts contemplating.)

Actually, I sold the piece. A few weeks ago, I ordered a new car that I probalby won't have for at least a year, but I figured it would be easier to sell an unmodified Z than one that has been changed suit my personal taste.

Wow ... the range of change over a few weeks ... and now full circle.


What car are you ordering a year in advance ?

 

I have not changed my mind at all about the nose...I still love it, but there's no reason to drastically alter my Z at this point.

Thanks......the first year of production is sold out, but my deposit supposedly guarantees me one. I won't be able to choose color or options until the spring, and it may well be early 2006 before I take delivery. With a curb weight of less than 3000 lbs, a 400+ HP V8, and an interior and styling to die for, it should be worth the wait.

I think my Z is pissed at me. The day after I ordered the AM, the driver window stopped working.......this is the first problem of any kind I've ever had with the car.....spooky. Maybe I should sell it now.........

 

Yes, I read the brief write-up in the September R&T.... the Aston Martin V8 Vantage on sale in mid-2005 ... at around $100,000.

What a beauty ... with potential performance to match its looks ...

I've never bought such an expensive car. I owned a new 95 911 and it was a POS......I hope the AM fairs better.
