I have a black Colgan bra that I only used for 3 weeks. It has a few minor imperfections that would not be sen any way; i.e. under the hood. If you are interested, Ill let you have it for $55 shipped to you. I paid $90 for it.

If you're looking for the clear bra check on 3m's website they have a locator for vendors/installers of their scotchguard protectant film

I usually wash my Z by hand, but I have used a car wash many times. There is absolutely no problem with the clear bra coming off. It is certainly more permanent than any leather bra product, and is far safer in a car wash than a leather bra, which can build dirt and grime underneath the bra, which can scratch the paint. In my opinion, the 3M and Llumar clear bra products are far superior to the Calgan, and the "you get what you pay for" saying applies here.

rclab1 if you are looking to get a bra for your Z, do yourself a favor and get a clear bra. Take a look at this link to find an installer in your area: http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/_...5/_s.155/98912

The latest, greatest film clear bra installers are using is Llumar. Here is what my installer (Invisiguard in No. Calif) told me:

"We have used all of the better urethane films(Venture, Avery, 3M, Llumar) and have now switched over exclusivly to Llumar because of its superior finish and energy absorbtion compared to the other films we've used, it also comes with a nationwide lifetime warranty, cant beat that!"

Hope that helps. -- Jim

Default Clear bra

I have the clear bra and have never had even a tiny corner lift up. This stuff sticks great! In fact, I have never heard of anyone having such. Is this just sour grapes?

As for black bras, I don't get it. If the point is to keep the car looking good (no chips) then why put something on it that makes it look terrible right now? Ugly now for pretty later makes no sense.

The clear bra looks good when it is on, and it protect the paint. The black bras (in my opinion) look ugly, and they are as likely to damage the paint as protect it if you do not keep the area under them absolutely clean.

Just my $0.02.
