I am looking for a good place to unstall a bodykit in VA as close to Richmond as I can get. also whats the going rate for the paint and install so I have something to compare to ?

I think it depends on the quality of the kit (i.e. how well it fits), the complexity of the kit, and the quality of the paint job you want.

There is no such thing as a "going rate" when it comes to installing a body kit. It really depends on whether it's Fiberglass or Urethane, how well it fits, the complexity of installing it, the quality of the fit and finish, etc. I just had the full Vizage kit installed and the cost was close to 2K at a shop in Springfield.

They took their time and did a nice job, but it made the total investment in the body kit almost 4K all said and done.

And don't waste your time asking for estimates, or even rough guesses over the phone. Body shops won't give you an estimate until they see the kit. That was my experience anyway, and I must have called 12 different shops before I finally found one that would do the work.

 

Springfield? Well seeing as I dont really know anybody down in richmond and your ride look GREAT! I dont mind the drive. can you pm me some contact info for who did your work?
