they don't appear to be painted.. It looks like some sort of chromed plastic.

Hello everyone, I am Scott from Oceanemblems, mods I am not trying to pedal my wares, just going to answer questions.

the Emblems start out as a sheet of crome like covered black plastic. I cut through the chrome cap revealing the black backround, there is no painting involved, the cap and substrate is thermoformed together so there is no possibility of de lamintation. They also come with 3m 467 High performance adhesive that I lamintae to the back of the full sheet, then when I cut the outer shape, you get a perfectly matched advesive surface.

Someone asked me for twin turbo emblems lik the supercharged ones. I decided to design one that was 350z specific. Here is the drawing which can be made in any size.

it would be cool if he could find the material the 350z badge is made from and make TT or supercharged badges in the exact same letter style as the fairlady Z or 350z lettering and finish.

but i guess that would be pretty hard
Is that the fair lady emblem in your avitar? if so I hope whoever made it had licenseing rights to copy the original so closley and sell them. If not, then snap a picture and let me take a look at it.

It is the original Z badge, he just took the black off and made it all one color.

so if I were to send you an emblem already made ( the cursive fairladyZ ) old style, you wouldn't be able to make it in a smaller size yet identical in appearance?

No sorry, I can't do beveled edges and contours, the laser only cuts perfectly vertical. plus my emblems have to be chrome and black

EDIT, maybe you should show me a pick of the cursive one so i can see what it looks like
